Scope and Delimitation

            This study focuses on the effectiveness of the sanitary materials in the comfort rooms of the College of Business Administration and Accountancy (CBAA). Moreover, it focuses particularly on the hand wash and tissue papers for the betterment of the comfort rooms of the said department. Thus, it is limited to only 100 students of the department, 1^st year to 4^th year who are currently enrolled for the second semester of the school year 2011-2012.

Significance of the study

This study will be a significant endeavor in promoting good work environment in the workplace and motivations of the companies to promote the 5S Methodology. This study will also be beneficial to the students, instructors and different companies when they adopt these methodologies for the betterment of their workplaces. By understanding the needs of the companies and benefits of the 5S, you can be assured of a competitive advantage. Moreover, this research will provide recommendations on how to be a good promoter of the 5S Methodologies.

By fulfilling the aims and objectives of the study, this study will be helpful for other researchers who may be focusing on the effectiveness of the 5S in their workplaces, particularly on using hand washes and tissue papers. Such data will hopefully be helpful for researchers in establishing their own means of conducting their study. The notable significance of this study is the possibility that it may be able to use the findings for the other studies that may wish to analyze the factors for the success or demise of a particular study.
